The Journal of Scientific Research (JSR) is a more than 50 years old journal published by Institute of Science, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India. The JSR mainly publishes original articles, reviews, case studies, short notes, and scientific letters from all branches of science. The contributions of interdisciplinary nature are highly encouraged for soliciting a wide spectrum readership of our journal.
The JSR is listed in UGC-CARE List of Journals w.e.f. 14-06-2019.
The JSR is a double-blind peer reviewed journal means both the author and peer reviewers are not aware of each other’s identity.
The JSR is a free journal means it does not charge any article submission, processing and publication fees.
The JSR is an open access journal and publishing with the JSR makes your work freely available online for everyone, immediately upon publication, and our high-level peer-review and production processes guarantee the quality and reliability of the work.
The JSR published two issues in a year till January 2021. The JSR publishes four issues in a year since January 2021 onward.
The JSR has also started publishing high quality conference proceedings since 2020. Conference proceedings are accepted for publication in JSR based on quality and are therefore required to meet certain criteria, including quality of the conference, relevance to an international audience and covering highly cited or timely topics. The JSR accepts proceedings in all topics of fundamental/applied research in all branches of the theory and practice of pure and Applied Sciences.
